For the Young Men & Women of the Ramu Valley of Papua New Guinea
to Know God and Be Equipped to Make Him Known

In 2004, the vision in the Ramu Valley began among the Inapang people group with a literacy, church development, and translation initiative. Thirteen years later, there are 9 literacy schools, 10 churches, and a Body of Christ hidden among four people groups of the Ramu Valley.

Now, young Inapang men and women who have become literate as children are now excited to learn more about this amazing created world that we live in and they are ripe for quality education. Often, once they finish our village courses, the children enter the government school system, they find themselves trapped in a broken educational system.

The Vision of Ramu Valley Academy is that through a lasting partnership with the local church, we can provide a robust, quality education from a Christian perspective in order to build up and equip future leaders both in the church and in the community at large.

The vision of the Ramu Valley Academy is to produce community workers who digest the theology of Ephesians 2:10 that we are ALL “His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” and then live it out.  The end goal is to see them become active participants in their communities helping to give direction to the completion of the Great Commission in their own provinces and country and beyond. They are waiting for their turn to learn!
